Transition and Student Support Coordinator (Grades 10-12): Applicant must have the qualifications and ability to:

• Attend and provide input at IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers regarding students’ SDIs and appropriate modifications and accommodations to instruction.
• Communicate with sending districts’ special education case managers regarding students’ needs and progress to ensure implementation.
• Correspond with parents regarding students’ needs and progress.
• Oversee special education teachers’ program assignments and staffing student supports.
• Coordinate and meet with administration regularly to communicate program and student needs.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education required; Master’s preferred.
• Special Education certification required.

• Minimum of five (5) years classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a career and technical education setting preferred.
• Experience providing special education learning support.
• Excellent organizational, time management, human relations, written, verbal, and communication skills, maintains confidentiality according to FERPA.

We seek a highly organized, self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills who has experience working agricultural plant systems and related technology training. [Applied Horticulture/Horticulture Operations]

Teach program that focuses on the general production and processing of domesticated plants, shrubs, flowers, foliage, trees, groundcovers and related plant materials; the management of technical operations connected with horticulture services; and the basic scientific principles needed to understand plants and their management and care.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Prepare lessons that support student learning and skill development

• Discuss student progress and problems with parents via phone or email
• Participate in faculty and professional meetings

Qualification:

• Valid PDE teaching certificate in Agriculture [1200] or willingness to obtain Agricultural Education certification; or CTE Instructional certificate in Horticulture/Floriculture [2012] or four [4] years of documented work experience in green industry* required to complete PDE certification requirements [CIP Code 01.0601].
• Significant FFA experience
• Knowledge of Google Suite – Classroom, Forms, Docs, Sheets; Student grading system
• Ability to work in partnership with staff

*Industry experience in the following areas: commercial greenhouse management, botany, aquaponics, soil science, landscape architecture and pesticide safety. Also be willing to be an FFA advisor and foster relationships with local agricultural agencies.

Full-Time Permanent Welding Technology Teacher position available for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidate must have 4 years of paid industry experience required. Experience working with high school age students or prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsible to provide instruction in the Welding Technology program. Develop competency-based curriculum and performance-based instruction; conduct all classroom activities as validated by the Occupational Advisory Committee. Ability to plan, assess and supervise students in a classroom and laboratory setting.

 

Qualification:
Pennsylvania certification in Career and Technical Instruction or willingness to enroll in coursework to obtain – Career and Technical/Instructional 2600 (Welding 2079); minimum of four (4) years of paid occupational experience. Required skills include, but are not limited to the following: MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
