Responsibilities

• Act in absence of the Administrative Director
• Supervise all components of the technical educational program including Chapter 339
  Regulations & Approved Program Review;
• Provide leadership for curriculum development, teacher induction, staff development and the
  teaching/learning process;
• General Supervision of the Principal, Pupil Services Supervisor, Special Education Supervisor
  & Adult Education Supervisor;
• Assist in the administration of policies and procedures to achieve educational goals;
• NOCTI / NIMS Assessment Coordinator;
• Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC);
• Articulation Agreements;
• Supervise CTSO’s, School Activities & Advisors;
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Administrative Director to adapt to the changing needs
• of the organization.

 

Qualification:
Five (5) years CTE Administrative experience preferred;
Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Career and Technical Administrative Director Certification

 

Terms
Full-time, twelve-month administrative contract; Member of Act 93 Unit

North Montco Technical Career Center is seeking a full-time Property Maintenance and Renovation Teacher.

This is a new program of study designed to prepare high school students for careers in the construction industry through technical knowledge and skills in the building, repair, and general maintenance of residential buildings and other structures. The program provides instruction in many of the construction trades including structural carpentry, finish carpentry, millwork, plumbing, electricity, masonry, concrete, tile setting, installing hardware, heating, ventilation, waterproofing, roofing, siding, drywall, painting, regular tool and machine maintenance, environmental control systems, and record keeping.

Applicants must have a minimum of four years (8000 hours) comprehensive wage-earning experience directly related to this occupation and be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a PA teacher certification.

ANTICIPATED LPN

Active position as an LPN assisting high school students in a technical setting. Position will support the school nurse with providing services to students, health screenings, documentation and communication.

ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTOR

Candidate will instruct students in a four year program covering a broad electrical curriculum focused on residential and commercial installation and repair. Additional topics will include motors, controls, low voltage applications and electrical distribution. Minimum 4 years experience in the industry field required.

SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR

Must possess a Special Education K-12 Certification and have experience working with students with various disabilities and have strong behavioral management skills. Familiarity with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans and the ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues is essential. NMTCC is seeking a teacher for our new Electro Mechanical / Mechatronics lab. In this lab setting you will be responsible for teaching foundation concepts and troubleshooting of electrical systems, 3 phase, pneumatics or hydraulics, programmable logic controls (PLCs) and robotics. For non-certified candidates (PA teaching certificate), there will be an educational requirement component.

Job Requirements: Responsible for teaching Electro Mechanical / Mechatronics curriculum of foundational knowledge and theory with hands-on project-based learning in a high-energy environment to multiple level learners in grades 9-12 in a state of the art laboratory environment using test rigs and industrial trainers.
