SUN Area Technical Institute is looking for a permanent full-time (10-month/year) Instructor for our Collision Repair Technology program, beginning with the 2024-2025 SY.

The selected candidate must possess the following PDE certificate: Autobody/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician, CIP Code: 47.0603 (Occupational Competency Area: Automotive Body & Fender 2005) or have the following qualifications to obtain the required certificate:
  • Four-plus years of recent full-time wage-earning work experience in the collision repair field (does not include training time).

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, located in Jamison, PA, is seeking a qualified and passionate professional to fill the position of Engineering Related Technology Instructor. Health Assistant Instructor
The HEA instructor is responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program focusing on preparing students for entry-level employment in the health occupations and will support the Pennsylvania Occupational Standards (POS) for CIP Code 51.0899. Instruction consists of core course content with clinical experiences in health-related occupations. Instruction includes but is not limited to basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, legal and ethical aspects of health care and communication.

The CMN instructor is responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program focusing on basic skills in a variety of areas associated with computer networking that will support the Pennsylvania Occupational Standards (POS) for CIP Code 11.0901. Instruction includes but is not limited to computer hardware and operating systems, use of networking cable making tools, SOHO and enterprise configuration, and knowledge of TCP/IP.

Reading and interpretation of commercial and residential construction wiring codes and specifications, installation and maintenance of wiring, service and distribution networks within large construction complexes are also critical components of the program.

It is anticipated that there will be negotiated hours mutually agreed upon to upstart the Health Occupations Program which would include student recruitment (Grades 8-11), working with the Occupational Advisory Committee, ordering and organizing the equipment, materials, texts for the program and a visit to the same program in another school district.
