The Clarion County Career Center is seeking candidates for Director of Career and Technical Education. This is a full time position with a start date in the 2018-19 school year. A thorough understanding of secondary CTE and adult workforce training is necessary. The Gettysburg Area High School, in conjunction with four Adams County Schools, provides a quality Career and Technical Education Program to the students. The Network Systems Technology Instructor focuses on the design, implementation, and management of linked systems of computers, peripherals, and associated software. This program includes instruction in network technology and standards: system design, architecture, operating systems, security, communications protocols, client support, messaging services, network management, troubleshooting, and server optimization. Interested candidates must have two years of related work experience, five years preferred. Candidates should hold Industry Certification or be willing to obtain these certificates. Must possess a Bachelors or Associates Degree in Information Technology related field, with two years of related work experience within the past ten years. Industry Certificates are strongly desired.
